sapphire 2000/programming question -theatre stack

say im in theatre stack programming and i want Step3(cue 3) to have movers on/colored & focused in a set area on stage but Step2(cue 2) is already made without movers on or in said position or color, but then I want to put the movers in their Step3 position in Step2 but turned off.. I want this so the movers dont swing and color scroll into their color/position/focus when I hit GO for Step3.. -- in summary: I want the movers to be in their S3 position/color in S2 (but after previously recording my conventional lighting only in S2) whats the most efficient programming process to achieve this?
Now a slight variation...
reference the above, lets say I want to slightly modify a playback memory as the "mover" deployment for S3, whats the most efficient way to set this "mover" scene (but turned off) in S2 if theres a playback involved (as opposed to creating a look from scratch like the above example).. just making sure the programming process isn't any different when building off a playback memory..
Hope this makes sense. its for a dance recital where I will be setting cues on the fly in rehearsal... and I might not see the need for using movers for the "end pose" of a song until I've already made it past the "main song" cue.. so then of course if I wind up using the moving lights for an end pose in stage center, i will want them to "preload" on the main song cue after already previously recording the main song cue without movers in position..
