A chase in Titan Mobile

Postby bjkered » 19 May 2012, 16:59

I AM GOING MAD..

Trying to create a simple 4 (pair) Par Can Chase on my brand new Titan Mobile. I am just following the manual.

I seem to record the four pairs of par cans which are all on separate playback faders to a new fader all seems to go ok.

However when I slide the chase fader up i can see the 4 steps running as a 4 cues stepping through but bugger all lights come up

Any Hints
Regards

Don't know how you programmed the chase from playback faders...

Basic chase programming:
- CLEAR
- AVO + Exit (just in case)
- Record, Select 'record chase', 'record mode: fixture'
- press the blue button of the target handle once
- select fisxtures for first step
- @@ (or bring them up with the dimmer attribute)
- press the blue button of the target
- CLEAR
- select fixtures for the next step
- @@
- blue button
- CLEAR
- ...
- EXIT

Now the chase should be recorded fine.

If you want to make a chase out of existing playbacks you need to use the 'Quick Build' record mode:

- Start recording chase.
- Set record mode to Quick Build
- Press the blue key of a playback to create step 1
- Repeat using other playbacks for more steps
- End recording chase.

You can also use palettes in quick build for things like colour chase.
