Multi cell fixture color issue

Hello,
I'm using a bunch of Chauvet ColorRail led strips in multicell mode. I've used Titan Mobile V4 & V5 with the same personality dated 30/8/11 in 14 channel mode before with great success.

However... today while patching a new show (or opening an old show with the same fixture), the color attributes do not work properly. Here's what's happening (or not happening):

After selecting a ColorRail fixture... then selecting the color attribute, the color wheel only shows Red, Green, Blue...instead of the Red 1, Green 1, Blue1. Typically by pressing the color button again, it would then display the second cell (Red 2, Green 2, Blue 2,), etc... however, this function does not work, it behaves like it is a single cell unit.

I'm not an expert in understanding the personality builder, but everything looks normal with the personality. (Plus, I know that personality has worked fine in the past.) Is something wrong with the personality or have I inadvertently selected some option on the board that is not allowing me selection of the multi cells? I can verify that no DMX value for any color channels are being outputted, no matter what the Color attribute wheels are indicating. I've also tried this on another PC (with same Titan Mobile wing) and it did the same thing.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! :^)

Since v5 to access the cells you need to unfold the fixture (press unfold then select fixture handle).

In earlier software versions the fixture will revert to a 'compatibility' mode where the attributes are paged.

Ahh...Thank you!

So, how do I grab and unfold a group or several fixtures at once. I simply want to create a linear chase effect over several fixtures with a shape generator.

Thanks for helping the clueless :^)

Unfortunately, currently you can only unfold one fixture at a time. Thus, there would be several options:
(1) get yourself accustomed to the pixelmapper
(2) create groups of the subfixtures as you prefer it. You have to do this manually: select a subfixture, create a group, select next subfixture, add it to that group (create the same group, merge...)
(3) if you prefer the old-style programming for whatever reason: re-write the personality, avoiding all the cell/master stuff

Additionally:

- Make groups and/or edit from channel grid.
- Assign subfixtures to handles via Show Library. I like to do first, laying out on a separate fixture workspace page as they appear on stage. It is then very easy to select and edit or make groups.
