Pearl 2010 video card

Hi all,

I have a Pearl 2010 that has had problems with the vdu card output. The monitor works, but does not receive all color information. Perfectly readable as long as you don't mind the blue/green tint.

It has the Cirrus Logic CL542x with the CL-GD5428 chipset.

Does anyone know if I can replace it with a card that has the CL-GD5429 chipset if I replicate all of the ISA pin jumpers on the new card and remove the onboard video bios chip?

I rarely use the ext. monitor so it hasn't been an issue, but now I have a client who insists on it. I suppose I should get it working.
