Hi, bit of a newbie here. Been looking around this forum for shape tips n tricks - probably repeated content for a lot of you, so I apologize in advance.

Got a pearl 2000 (running 04) and some 3 ch LED pars (rgb) on show. got them doing colour shape business (still learning) and its all good.

However, got Rainbow spread shape going on and its look wicked in the application. But its too intense all of them on scrolling through colours. What I want is to keep the rainbow spread shape going, but blackout/strobe fixtures in odds/evens etc.
Ive tried doing a shape on odds, saving as a step in a chase, removing shape, clear, then same shape on evens, saving as next step. but that doesnt work as intended and doesn't look right.

What I want to know is is there a way to control fixture intensity in a shape?
Guessing, this might be hard in 3ch mode..........

Im quite keen to learn some shape editing myself (im ok with code, done enough c# in the past) so any direction to hints etc would be great...... most of the stuff Ive found around here, leads to Titan etc... but maybe im looking in the wrong places.

Any help/guidance is really appreciated, thanks in advance.

Essentially you're right, it'd be much more easily done in Titan - but let's see what we can do with the tools at hand.
I'd expect the fixtures which aren't in the 2nd step stop on the state where they were when the 2nd step was fired. Thus, when applying a shape, say, on the odd fixtures for a chase step, try additionally saving the even ones at 'black' (remember, if shape or not, RGB is LTP).

Unfortunately there is no way I know of to control the intensity in your case (it would be related to shape size on fader, and a virtual dimmer - but both is Titan).

Also, you might try your luck with patching the fixtures as RGB HTP. Depending from the other things you wish to program, maybe this is of some help.
