titan with arkaos using citp

hello,
i use pearl expert with titan v5 and arkaos.
I patch it with active fixtures. That's great!
But i have two question:

acitve fixture patch automatically 12 layers and not the master. Is it possible with active fixtures to decrease number of layer and to have the master?

And secondly, i would like to know how to see thumbnails of the
media when i store it in palettes? I can see them in attribute controle, but not in the gobo and beam window

thank you

Hi, I saw the same weirdness. If you click 'use fixture's address', it patches only one layer and gives an error afterwards - if you patch using 'assign dmx address manually', it always patches 12 layers.

My workaround so far:
- use the second option
- delete the unneeded layers manually
- finally, patch the master layer manually (CITP has no means to transfer this information - and simply assuming this layer on its default address 1.450 is sometimes error prone)

Unfortunately there is no way to use the thumbnails in palettes or other legends - attribute control on gobo bank is the only place

yes, i foud the same solution for the patch.

But for thumbbnails in palettes, that's strang.
When i load the avolites demo show in titan, there's thumbbnails in palettes!
That's not an arkaos but an hippotyser, but i think it's not différent

Thumbnails as picture legend exists as a future feature request.

The active fixture function uses the information provided by ArKaos to patch the fixture. It is possible to specify in the MediaMaster application how many layers are used and Titan will follow this setting. ArKaos do not provide any information about the master layer over CITP so it is not possible to determine if or where it needs to be patched, it can be patched as a normal fixture before or after patching the active fixture. When I tested this recently it appears that the latest version of ArKaos is returning the wrong DMX address for one or more of the layers, I have contacted ArKaos about this so hopefully we can get to the bottom of this soon.
