Universal Tap Tempo

Is there a way to make a universal “tap tempo” button?

So that I can use just one button to set the tempos for all chases running? Or so that I can tap it in at the beginning of the song and then any chases that run in tha song will take the tapped tempo?

WISHLIST, and please write this to software, too. I am happy someone seconds for 'time/tempo master'
