problem with tiger pallets

Postby eyalefrat » 18 Aug 2011, 12:46

hi
it seems like after programing a several pallets the console freeze on specific attribute like colors or positions or strobes so when i want to change between them nothing happen .(colors to positions etc)
the only way i can pass this problem now is to go to the attribute i wish to change to do a slight change and then i can change pallets but only in the same attribute bank
or do a cold reset but then the problem happen 15 min later

id like to give more info if needed
hope their is a way to solve this issue...

Just to be clear are you having the problem recalling with the attribute bank set on dimmer? The reason I ask is because in the Tiger software the attribute banks are designed to filter palette recall using focus mask. By default dimmer includes everything but selecting shutter/iris (for example) will then only allow these types of palette to recall.

so what u saying is when i record a pallet of pan and tilt (for example) i could only recall pallets from the same attribute>?

normally i record very basic pallets like shutter ill do a few pallets of different % so i have felxablity in the shutter and one pallet of open shutter after i play with it i cant recall a position pallet or a color pallet

The way it works is if you set the attribute bank to dimmer then everything in a palette will recall (depending on what fixtures are selected, if any). This is fine if there are enough palettes to keep then all separate - for example some colour, some position, some gobo.

But if there are not enough then you can put all the information on a single palette and use the attribute bank keys to determine which you want to recall. So you could store a palette that had colour, position & gobo and then filter the one you want to recall using the attribute bank keys.
