The Visualiser no longer needs a dongle. It will work directly with the simulator running on the same machine or with a console via ACDI and serial to MIDI cable.

See http://www.avolitesdownload.com/LinkCli ... 10&mid=567 - I think even if this is not exactly new, installation and run is well described.

In short:

- download and install the visualiser
- download and install the Pearl simulator
- in visualiser, select 'Simulator' as DMX Input
- patch some fixtures in the simulator
- assign those fixtures in the visualiser (design-mode), and correctly address them (to start easily, just start with some dimmers - once you get the hang of, doing the same with lots of movers is easy)
- toggle visualiser mode to run (select a.m. input), and enjoy.

For further questions, please provide some more details:
- both running on the same machine or not
- you plan to control it with a real desk?
- only to make it clear: you're not talking about a Titan Simulator?

Best, S.
