Simulator Patching

Postby S Preston » 08 Oct 2004, 13:54

It has been a while... can someone tell me how to patch fixtures on the simulator. I understand you can't use the disk function, but I am confused in regards to the aps.cmp notation. Help !!!!!

When you're going to patch fixtures in the Simulator you are prompted to specify a folder where an aps.cmp (a=azure, p=pearl, s=sapphire) must be located.

By default, you will have an aps.cmp file in the same folder where the Pearl.exe was installed. That file should be, depending on your disk structure and O.S. language, "c:\program files\avolites\pearl simulator\aps.cmp".

Anyway you can always construct your own aps.cmp file with the Cache Builder, put it wherever you want in your computer, and re-direct the prompting there when you are going to patch.
