Cue List programmer not clearing

Right, im running Titan V4 on a Pearl Expert.
I got to creat a cue list, select a handle as normal, creat a state that I wasnt to record, hit the blue swap button to record, create another scene and hit the blue swap key to record.
So, I cnnect to the cue list and run the first cue...all is well. Pressing go on the second cue fires the new fixtures BUT keeps the fixtures from the previous cue in. Now before you all tell me that the fixtures from the previous cue are still in the programmer, there not. I have manually removed them, checked the display on the desk as well as the external monitor and on wysiwyg.
How can something thats NOT recorded in the programmer remain in the next cue? If anything they are recorded in the programmer as me telling them to fade out. All I want is the previous cue to fade out... Any thoughts?
