Picture Legends

Postby Danny Middelburg » 05 Apr 2011, 16:11

Hey Avo Users!

Recently I was discovering the Picture Legends Function on titan v4...
I found the option to a a picture as legend to a palette.
And to increase the programming speed Avolites build in a Stock Library.
I would like to know if I can add some pictures (like stock pictures from anufacturers) to this library...
I already went searching for this library in the Program Files but i couldn't find anything...
Maybe somebody could help me!

Yours,

I think the short answer is no. Not at the moment.

Technically I'm sure it's possible but probably more hassle that it's worth. Don't let me stop you though!

Oh....too bad!

If it's possible it would be very nice...
I'm familiar with Windows and Mac OSX but I don't know how DLL files work...
Maybe a tech from avolites or someone with more windows knowledge could help me?

They're not dll's. There's nothing preventing you examining the file structure.

No..I mean that I couldn't find something in the file structure so it must be in a DLL or something else...
I was looking for a map called: "Legend library" or something similar...
But unfortunately I didn't found anything like it...

I meant the actual structure of the files, not their location. Finding them was the easy part!

They are xml. Without checking I think it is in: C:/Documents & Settings/Administrator/Application Data/Avolites/

It would be quite useful to label gobos with a pic of the gobo and colors with a pic of the color. This would be very useful and quick compared to searching through a sea of text to find the pallet you are looking for. Chamsys has this function and it is quite handy.
