Hello,
I am new to Avo, just bought a Tiger Touch V4.0 2 months ago. I am generally very pleased with the console. The interface is quick and easy to navigate and it is a lot of fun to do a show on.
The biggest problem I am having right now is in the programing. Specifically in the programing of my 36 Color Kenitics Colorblast 12's. I figured out the Mode 2 part to make the RGB "mix" from 3 faders but I can't figure how to make a chase work properly. Example: Step 1- only fixture 1 on in red, Step 2- only fixture 2 on in red, and so on. I have recorded this chase many times in Channel, Fixture, and Stage modes, using the Clear button after each step, Not using the clear button, but manually setting the color to zero after each step and I still can not get this to work properly.
When I run this chase either the last fixture stays on or a bunch stays on when I stop the chase.
What am I doing wrong?
Any suggestions or comments would be appriciated.

-Select all fixtures.
-Set red 0%.
-Start recording chase, set record mode 'by channel'.
-Select first fixture.
-Set red 100%.
-Record step 1.
-Set red 0%.
-Select second fixture.
-Set red 100%.
-Record step 2.
....
-Select last fixture.
-Set red 100%.
-Record final step.
-Exit chase menu.
-Clear.

The important parts were setting all to zero before beginning as well as zeroing each fixture after use. No clearing until complete.
This assumes you specifically only wanted red. Green and blue are not included and therefore must be set to zero elsewhere to actually get red.

To avoid a fixture staying on when stopping is not so simple. If the chase is still active (fader raised/playback on in touch) and you stop the chase from chase controls the fixture will stay and you cannot change this.
However if, rather than stopping, you are killing the chase then the fixture from the last step will stay on because the attribute is LTP and mode2 is not available from chases. Most of the time this is not an issue since you would be using (virtual) dimmers to master. However, I can see this may be a problem if you are trying to achieve RGB mixing from three chase playbacks.

The solution is to release to (quick) palette:
-Record a palette which is RGB at zero for all fixtures involved. This could be a shared palette.
-Clear.
-[Playback Options]
-Select red chase.
-[Release]
-[Colour Incude]
-Exit
-Select green chase.
(repeat so each chase is set to release colour).

-Recall the palette without selecting any fixtures.

Now when you lower any of the chases all fixtures using the related attribute will fade that attribute to zero (from the palette).

Note that currently there is a default release fade of 2sec which cannot be overridden in chases (although it can be cheated in cues by changing curve).
Also, in current software version (4.0) this will be broken for any fixture you select/clear. If you do this then the chase will release to the power on value instead and you must recall the palette again to fix.
