Azure died today

Postby theisbr » 24 Mar 2011, 02:08

Our Azure Shadow completely stopped working today. When you turn on the power switch, only the "Little Light" comes on. Nothing on the monitor and no LEDs on the face of the panel. We contacted Avo America and they indicated that the Motherboard may have died.

Just curious if someone knows a ballpark cost to get a new Motherboard for this console and if there is more involved with the repair than just swapping out the Motherboard.

I am wondering if the problems I have been having with the console were indicators of the failing motherboard.

Thanks

Hi I have had one do the same in the past, try the power unit. If I rember it should be 5.1 volts any less than this will give you all sorts of problems.

Thanks for the input. After consulting the US Avolites tech support, we did a hard reset on the mother board and it came back to life. I think that the show file that I have been using is corrupt so I will need to start with clean console. I am not excited about that as it has take me a long time to get a lot of the palettes set with positions colors and looks. Oh well.
