Best way to run RGB Parcan on Pearl 2004

We have just purchased a Pearl 2004 and love it so far. The question we have is which way is the easiest to run a RGB Parcan that has no dimmer control, HTP or LTP and why? We have tried LTP and find it works but is a little frustrating.

I always used to use HTP. Mostly because with LTP you can't fade playbacks unless you set to mode2 which is only available for cues (not chases) and not ideal. I also rather liked the way you can get additive colour mixing from cues/chases with HTP although it is equally possible this is a problem.

The main disadvantage of using HTP is there is a maximum limit of 240 HTP attributes in the software and it tends to slow down the more you use.
