Pearl 2008 - Staggered fade times for fixture attributes?

Postby jlightguy » 09 Dec 2010, 20:20

Hello All. I have been trying to figure this out for some time, and I really hope I am not missing something obvious. If I am, please forgive me! What I am trying to achieve is a "wipe" of color across a stage. In other words, if I have six fixtures hung across the stage, I want them to change from one color to the next with slightly staggered timing in order to give the appearance that the color is "wiping" across the stage. I know I can put in a "wait" time in the "edit times" window, but this only effects the entire memory. Is there a way to work on each fixture indvidually within a memory? I would love some advice from the Avo veterans out there!

Thanks in advance!

I think this isn`t possible in an easy way. Only way i can think is making a chase, with each fixture one by one changing the color, and then stop the chase after the last step.

In Titan it's easy but unfortunately in 2008/Classic, chase is the only way.

Thanks for the advice. I will give it a shot and see how it looks.
