Diamond 3 problem and 'memory pool corrupted'

Dear Avolites-forum users,

I have a Diamond 3 that seems to 'hang up' when I turn it on. The following things happen:

1. The LCD screen starts to blink at very rapid speed. The (red) screen above the playback faders show random sings and letters. If I don't do anything, it will continue to blink. No buttons give a response.
2. When I press Reset (at the back) I get a screen that says: Memory Pool Corrupted. I get three choices: Wipe-all, repair and exit.
3. When I choose repair, the screen displays a weird percentage (like 8424215%).
4. When i choose Wipe-all, the console starts up into Live Program Mode and I can use it without problems. But of course, i've lost all my data and need to load shows from a diskette.

It is very obvious that my console isn't working properly. Does anyone know what the problem is and, more important, how to solve it?

Hoping to hear from you guys! Thanks in advance!

Greetings from Holland

My guess is the motherboard battery is dead.
I would email service to confirm this and get details on how to test/replace if that is the case.

I've measured the battery on the Memory Board and that one's dead i guess, only 0,10 V. Is there any other battery?
