Hi there!

I would like some help with the Pearl 2010.

* If i program a shape, or chase on a playback fader on mode 2, i would like to know how i can only set the speed with the fader, and not also the size of the shape/chase.

* How does the HTP/LTP work, because when i have some movinglights, and some par lights i program a chase or something on a fader. If im playing a chase with the movinglights, set a colour with the palettes, and i use a chase for the pars, the movinglights set himself back to a random colour or a random pan/tilt.

* Is there a place where i can download more shapes for the shapegenerator?

Shape Gen/Playback Parameters. Use softkeys to toggle size/speed to static/timed.

For your chase it sounds like you accidentally recorded moving light information into the steps. Most likely this is because you were in 'record by fixture' and/or you did not clear the programmer. Read about record by fixture/channel and the programmer in the manual. To remove unwanted data use OFF and merge into cues (via unfold for chases).

There are no other shapes available officially although there is plenty of information on the subject here. What is it you need?

thank you for the reply! It is not really needed other shapes, but i was just wondering if there where other available.
I know with the right timing you can make a wave with control of the tilt/pan swap.

I always record by channel. So that isnt the case. But i do not clear the programmer (atleast i try to put all the things from the movinglights to 0% but it keeps coming back!

Not weird but how it is supposed to work. You must clear the programmer to stop values being recorded. Placing values at zero will simply record them at zero. This is important since a value of zero might mean white, or no gobo etc. It does not mean 'off'. This is true for any console that works with LTP.
