Titan V3.1 Chase direction problem...

Postby iadwm » 24 Jun 2010, 18:14

The bug that caused chases to stop if set to reverse or bounce:
Is this only fixed for new chases ? My Titan 3.0 (might be earlier) show is now stopping if chases are set to reverse (keep pressing reverse and it steps back a step at a time) or bounce.

It happens with both Playback Options/direction and console buttons.

This didn't happen in V3.0. Please don't tell me I've got to re-program all these chases! There are LOADS...

Nightmare.

I've partly figured out what is going wrong and was going to offer a fix, but it seems deeper than I first thought depending on what version the chases originate.

New chases work until you edit the link type.

This can definitely be fixed without reprogramming but I think it needs to be looked at officially first.

A fix would be great. The chases are mainly HTP for a number of LED's, so the direction gets changed quite often and on the fly.
Do I need to do anything at this point (tomorrow)?

Thanks, as always for your help.

I've just thought...it's more likely to be next week...being the Glasto weekend...

Cheers,

Andy

Ok. Send me the file. I think I have a fix now.

There are two caveats:

Firstly, they will break if you edit the link type again.
Secondly, do you have any cue-lists? It complicates the fix if you do.
