usb keyboard

does anyone know ive it is possible to connect an usb keyboard to the desk. mean there are plugs available that give qwerty to usb.. i'm working on a lot of different avo's in different places and i was wondering ive this work, cause then i will buy myself one of these flexible keyboards. nice and small and easy to carry around.

Wich desks do you use? At an Pearl Expert it isn`t a problem, i`ve noticed...

I've tried using a usb keyboard with a Sapphire & Pearl 2004, via a ps2 to usb adaptor (the type you often get supplied when buying new keyboards these days), unfortunately I didn't have any luck with either console.

As far as I know, for this adapter to work, device itself (mouse, keyboard) has to support it.
