am due to buy the dongle for the d4 and had a play around with the pilot to find the faders do not seem to be motorised or the motors dont work.

is this something that will be solved by the dongle or is it a fault with the unit?

The dongle will enable you to use the pilot and should fix the issues you are experiencing. If you are still having problems when you have received the dongle, give us a call.
