let's say I just want to go from 1,2, and 3 of a 10 step chase... then I want to go from 3, to 2, to 1....

that's what I meant

Same answer. Change direction after step 3.

Jumping to steps would be possible? In his example, instead of going 1,2,3...10; when raising the fader and hit GO, instead of the first step, to go directly to step 6 for example.

By using the arrows to navigate through steps I always lose the fade/wait in-out?

Sorry, I'm not sure if that was a question or not?

To clarify, if there is a change of direction when using the chase control buttons it does not snap to the next step. So this would not be a problem. Otherwise I always found that a useful feature. I can't remember if there is a difference when Fixture control is enabled and you use the arrow keys instead, but I didn't think so.

To jump directly to a step enter the step number followed by Connect. Pressing Go will then go to that step with associated timing. This works for theatre stack too. I don't think it was ever documented.
