If you are running TITAN, the Expert uses personalities from the D4 fixture library (.d4) and is completely different from .r20

Assuming you have already checked the fixture personality library, you will have to write/edit your own using a text editor or submit a request to Avo via the personality site.
The other option is simply to patch the fixture as dimmers.

If you're not running TITAN - then you should be!

Are you trying to read it from floppy/usb? The Expert won't do this. Instead you need to open Explorer and manually copy it into the classic directory: C:\program files\avolites\personalities\r20\

Regarding Titan personalities you wouldn't normally use a text editor to create your own. At a push you could use an xml editor but there is dedicated software available on request.
