Building a company template

I want to build a starting template for my Pearl 2004 as a "head start" to programming any show it goes out on. We have say 10 washes, 10 spots, & 10 strobes that go out to shows. )Obviousy not all may go to a show, or different amounts of each. I asume to build a quick template including say color palates, i should make a template with EVERYTHING in the board, program palates, and simply use whatever at the show. Is there a smarter way to do this?
