Hallo,

I'm quite new to the pearl but I did think I'd got the patching allright it appears I don't.

I got my hands on some old showtec MK II challengers and I wanted to patch them. So i followed the normal steps but each I try to select the fixtures from showtec I get the same message :

Error Allocation out of memorie
and the my pearl freezes

The strange thing is this only happends when I select the showtec fixtures all others just work perfectly.
It used to work perfectly (about 2 months ago).

Anyone knows what causes this or how I can fix it ?
I use a pearl 2004 upgraded to the 2008 version.

Greets,

Rick

I am checking this now.

Please make sure though that you have the latest library by getting the full library off the website.

I will let you know what i find

At a glance I notice there are -1 values for highlight/lowlight. Is this valid for .r20?

R20 Files can have -1 as highlight/lowlight values.

I tried the latest library and it seems to work however there is one fixture appearing with a blank name.

I will try and fix this but otherwise i can see no problem at the moment

Does this happen if you patch after performing a wipeall?

Yes I wiped the pearl 2 times and it said the memory was 99 % empty.

Then I tried to patch it : turned it in program mode --> patch --> choose fixture --> USBO1 --> showtec then is started cataloging and it froze.

I wiped it again en tryed to sychronise the fixtures.

Turned it in system mode --> USB stick options --> synchronise fixtures --> cataloging please wait, and then is said synchronise failt.

and both times all other fixtures worked just fine.

Thanks again,

Rick
