Pearl 2k - Two preset mode

Hi, im hoping you guys can help. I have a Pearl 2000 running 2004 software. Ive tried to set up the desk to use the two preset mode so I can run the first 30 channels on both top and bottom faders, but I cant seem to get it to work. Ive followed the instructions in the manual but no luck - am I missing somthing obvious or is it more likely that my desk has a fault?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Have you set user setting to two preset mode and turned key to run?

This will only work in run mode, not in program.

yeah ive changed the user setting 1 to 'two preset mode' and tried it in run but nothing seems to work.

Are your fixtures patched on the lower bank? ie. Handles 1-30?
