Hello,

I had to control sunstrip active (schowtec) with an azure...
I downloaded the library to play with the stripes on my desk but the problem is that i cannot use the shape generator with them...

So i try to modify the personality file in order to use the shape with sunstrips... but il still doesn't work (even bug my desk.....)

Does someone has a solution (or a good library?) to avoid me creating long long chase remplacing the shape?

ThanX

There are four different personality options depending on mode.

To use intensity shape you need to patch single channel version for each cell.

Realistically, though, this is simply a dimmer channel and I wouldn't bother with personalities at all unless you need to minimise handle use. So for full 10ch mode just patch ten dimmers.

Thanks...

I was believing that it was unpossible to use shape with dimmer channel...!!! (is it wrong???)

I used this solution before (to patch the sunstrip as 10 fixture of one HTP channel ) and would try to know if there were a more "simple" / "different" one... (who keep some place for other fixture and allowed to select quickly the stripes (without grouping))

If dimmer shape are running on Dimmer channel it's great but i can't try now if it's work. Someone can tell me?

Intensity shapes on dimmers work here on Titan. I can't switch over to Classic to test there but I'm fairly sure it's ok. If not then just patch the single channel fixtures.

But shapes work according to attribute, so the only way to make this work on a fixture where multiple cells are assigned across various attributes would be to run all the different sorts of shapes, which is much more complicated I think!

Single fixtures is easiest but does use up handles.

okay.

I remember that i try with the sunstrip library to run all the sort of shape (not only dimmer but color, gobo etc) and nothing happened.... i never understand why ( if you can explain me that strange phenomen... )
but even if it will works for sure it is not a solution to do like this...

So i will try with dimmer channel (i hope it's good) and if it's not continue with single channel fixture..

in any case thanks another time for the rapidity and the attention you gave to me.
