Sapphire and Dimmer Problem - Vert urgent

I am having problems controlling Zero 88 Chilli Install Dimmers using a Saphhire 2000.

The desk controls Mac 550's and Scrollers on Line B fine, but trying to control dimmers on any Line results in the following problem:

When a fader is put up with a dimmer patched to it, there is a 3/4 second delay then the lantern snaps to full, when the fader is put back down, there is a 3/4 second delay then the lantern snaps back to zero.

Everything works perfectly when using the venues own desk, a Zero 88 Alcora.

Any suggestions would be grately appreciated.

Regards

In emergency there is a 24hr number: 07831 178888

The first thing I would do is try resetting the console, just in case.

I can't think what could cause this, other than something at the dimmer end, or some DMX incompatibility.
Does it do it when programmed to a playback? Does it do this when using flash?

i am not in front of the desk at the moment.

Have done a wipeall and put the patch back in.

Does the same thing when using playbacks and flashes.

It is very weird as the venue desk is 100% fine, but the Sapphire just doesnt want to dim correctly.

check the settings on the venue's desk and see how their dimmer curve is set. Then, check the dimmers to see if their curve is set to anything other than linear

Have you tried using a third console to see if it does the same as the sapphire?

I think this is a dmx timing issue.
Try going to user settings and changing the dmx timing in Option 13. (Option 13 on a Pearl...not sure what it is on the Sapphire...)
This usually works with older dimmers that have a slightly different dmx spec.
