Azure Shadow grabbing extra fixtures

I am running an Azure Shadow 2004 and on several occasions I have been trying to grab dimmers by pressing "DIMMER" "PAGE 1" and then the desired dimmers on the 1-20 number pad. When I go to increase the intensity, the intensity of at least one of the fixtures on "FIXTURES" "PAGE 1" will also come up. The programmer has been cleared beforehand so it should not have control of the fixture. In most occurrences if I select dimmer #1, fixture #1 is also selected. It is like there is a bleed over from the DIMMERS select to the FIXTURES select. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? I have been using this console for about a year now, and this is occurring more often now.
