you will need to download Pearl/Azure/Sapphire disk 7 from the personality website. This disk contains the personalities for the DTS XR9 Spot

I have that file already

But how to download it into the pearl, and do I need to create a personality file? or add that fixture to the existing library???

On the classic software it is awkward since you cannot patch directly from floppy.

You must copy the file to the r20 folder on the expert using explorer. It should then be available.

I can't remember exact path, but it will be within c:\program files\avolites\

It might be necessary to restart software before it becomes available.

I am slightly confused. I know the title says pearl expert however you mention an azure.

To get the personality onto an azure is just copying it with SG.dat file(Obtainable from any of the personality disks) onto a floppy disk.

To get it onto a pearl expert in classic mode you are probably better off just updating the personality library using the personality installers from the website as this will save time and make sure you have an up to date library.
