Pearl Sept 2000 vs. March 2004 software

Hi,

I've got a Pearl 2000, with a borris 1 motherboard, but with all the upgrades needed to run the 2004 software. So I'm wondering what is Avolites "official" statement on what software to use. Do you guys recommend to stick to the 2000 software until some official announcement that the 2004 soft is ready for general consumption ?
Or is the 2004 soft already tested enough for general use ?

On a related note, is there already some documentation made with the 2004 software instead of reading all the release notes and compiling something together in your mind ?

One last question, in the 2004 release notes there is mentioned that all chases now are able to run from sound-to-light triggers. So to what extend is this possible with the sept 2000 software ? What chases are already able to run from sound-to-light triggers, or I'm a just interpreting the release notes wrong.
