Is there a list somewhere of the feature set expansion when moving from 2004 to 2008 - release notes or something similar?
I realize that USB was added, but what has been changed in the software?

I owned a 04' but have borrowed an 08' for a show i'm doing soon and would like to know of any fancy new tricks it can do. Thanks!

The only difference between the two is the USB ports, the software is unchanged bar that and I would guess a few bug fixes.

For fancy tricks you will need Expert or D4 running Titan. It is very unlikely there will be any further features added to consoles running the old hardware since it has reached its limit.
