Very old Rolacue 60...

Postby Porky » 05 Nov 2008, 14:36

Hi everyone,
I have a big problem with an old Rolacue 60 board (from the late 80's):
When programming a memory, the board adds similar channels to the memory which I programmed....for example:
- Programming Channel 10 to memory
- Fader channel 10 on 100%
- Store to memory 1
- If you now push up memory fader 1, Channel 10 is on 100%, but also Channels 9 and 8 (on 80% and 60%)

All the same on each memory with each combination of channels you try to programm.
The Chasersection works fine, no problem there.

Anyone here any ideas what I can check to debug the memory section ?
i love this desk very much, but with this bug I'm not possible to work with it....

Thanks for your help & greetings from Germany

Most forum dwellers are to young to know the RQ60

Anyhow, you are looking at a hardware issue, either the D>A is not doing its thing or the multiplexer both on the D>A or A>D card

I used to exchange chips with is neigbour and see which one moved the problem.

Anyhow if you give Adam a call at Avolites he can help you
