Theatre Stack problem on Tiger

Postby Simes » 28 Aug 2008, 23:46

Please can someone help!

I am using a new Pearl Tiger only a few months old without an external wing in theatre stack mode. The fixtures i have patched are Mac 250's, Showtec LED studio beam pars and standard pars.
I have programmed some steps/cues but there is no output to the lights, the macs move to where I have programmed them but the dimmer stays closed.
I have the theatre master (playback 7) at full but still no output. Reading the manual it says that in theatre stack i shouldn't be able to access the playbacks 7 - 10 if they have something programmed in them but i can.
The other time and LTP masters (playbacks 8-10) also don't seem to be responding
It seems like the desk is not assigning them when it is put into stack mode

Does anyone know if there are any other settings that need to be changed or could it be possible that the jumpers inside that enable the theatre masters to be used on the the external wing have been moved when it was built/tested?

Hope someone can help!!
Cheers
Simes

There is a hardware jumper to enable the theatre stack mode. You must change this jumper to be ale to use theatre stack. I would hope when you bought the desk you got a piece of paper on how to do this. If not I would recommend contacting Avolites support for further instructions.
