Hi,

Just started getting used to using the focus's on the pearl 2004, couple of questions for any Pearl buffs out there!:

1, Can you put the shapes onto focus buttons, like on the azure? for easy quick selection

2, Is it possible to record a chase that just contains the shutter? i.e. step 1 shutter on, step 2 shutter off.
What i want to do is run a shape, and then overlay the chase that shutters on and off along with the adjustment of speed so i can get it timed with the music? Can anyone understand what i am trying to get at there? bad description by me i think!!!

For the shapes question, it is a no I'm afraid. You can only access the shapes via the softbuttons.

If you want to make a chase with shutter on/off, set the record mode to CHANNEL instead of FIXTURE in the user settings. This way only the touched values will be recorded.
Alternatively, you can select, when recording a chase, the record mode on softbutton A (CHANNEL or FIXTURE). Then, make a chase with on step one the shutter open, and on step two the shutter closed.
