Problems with copying files from Pearl Simulator to Tconsole

Hi everyone!
I've got a problem with copying files from the Pearl Tiger Simulator (2004) to the console with (probably) Software 2008 Tiger.
Last year I also tried it, but failed. This year I'd like to try it again.
Now I wanted to update the software of the Pearl Simulator, but when I enter the AVOS2 system to update the console just as described in the manual the Simulator goes back to the Program menue.
So my question: Is it possible to update the Simulator? Or is there a converter to convert the Simulator file to the newest Update of the console software?
