Speed master doesn't change with pages

Postby StijnS » 27 Dec 2012, 20:10

Hi everybody!

I'm trying out some new idea's using the Titan Simulator, which is simulating a Pearl Expert.
I have assigned a BPM Master to one of the preset faders on page 0. But when I change to a different page, the BPM master is also on that page. Also when the fader property "Handle Paging" is set to "Unlocked".
Is this a bug, or is it intended to work like this?

Kind regards,

Stijn

Are you certain the handle is set to unlocked? There is a bug where the master doesn't select in playback options and actually you are editing a different handle. There are a few tricks to get it to select - one is to move the handle somewhere else and back again first.

It is indeed pretty hard to select the BPM master (I always get the settings from the previously edited handle), but I managed to select him/her:

It is set to unlocked, but still appears on all pages. On the HUD screen, it also appears on each of the four pages.

I don't have the real PE with me at this moment, but is this also a problem on the PE or only in simulator?

Furthermore: It seems that I can't enter text through the keyboard of my computer into the simulator.

I think this is a separate bug where the default setting for masters is transparent lock but playback options doesn't realise this and says it is unlocked. Try toggling through the options back to unlocked and see if it works then.

For keyboard you need to click on one of the other windows. This is an annoying focus problem.

Toggling through the options fixes the problem. Thanks!
