The custom personalities folder isn't working properly at the moment.

However, here is a list of the locations of the folders:

1. The standard d4 personalities folder is
- C:\program files\Avolites\Titan\FixtureLibrary on all consoles with version 5, and on computers running Titan Mobile/Simulator version 6
- D:\TitanData\FixtureLibrary on consoles running version 6 (however I expect the entire folder D:\TitanData being updated, since it also holds the IconLibrary and MacroLibrary)

2. The supposed-to-be user-personalities folder (see Nic's post) is
- C:\documents and settings\[username]\My Documents\Titan\Personalities on Computers running XP, having TiMo/Sim v6 installed (note that this translates to 'My Documents\Titan\Personalities')
- C:\Users\[username]\My Documents\Titan\Personalities an computers running W7, having TiMo/Sim v6 installed (note that this translates to 'My Documents\Titan\Personalities')
- D:\Personalities on consoles running v6

3. The required personalities for the visualiser go into C:\program files\Avolites\Visualiser\Personalities resp. C:\program files\Avolites\Visualiser\Extensions in all cases. I suspect they are updated likewise to item 1.

Just to put my 2P in.
Have also experienced the same errors as described in this thread with our Expert running V6. It also freezed during show, where powercycling and forced shutdown was the only way to get it going again.

Funny thing though, first time out with V6 was at a theatrical event, hence no busking, only cue stacks(including shapes) and didn,t experience any problems at all.

Problems first started appearing during busking events, when using palettes and shape generators more frequently.

Anyways, am plotting for theatrical now and have downgraded to v5, and everything seems fine again.

Hoping to see a fix soon

Sincerely

Beast DK

So the lag issues are fixed? I didn't see that mentioned in the release notes specifically.

Ah ok, wasn't sure since some of my lag issues didn't involve shapes. Thanks :-)

I upgraded to 6.1 yesterday and did a quick check.

It looks like the console memory is ok now but where doing live show tonight and tomorrow so that will be the full test.

I'll post our experiences here a.s.a.p.

Well it seems like 6.1 did the job just fine!

No memory issues anymore and also old (gobo) chases where working again.

After updating to V6 and opening a V5 show we noticed that some chases stopped working.

Without changing anything to the show, these chases are now working just fine in Titan 6.1 :D

I also find a few visual changes:

# current page text is now bigger then the rest.
# Avo logo on top of touchscreen
# repatch seems to work again (adres AND dmx line selectable)

thnx for the quick update!

I upgraded too yesterday, and did a quick check in our warehouse. I patched a whole lot of fixtures, and created about 20 shapes running on them. Not a single problem!
