Theatrestack programming - how to use?

Hi,

I am currently using a pearl 2004. And I hv no idea how to use the theatrestack programming on the console. A friend of mine said it is to create more "faders". From the look of it, it seems that the last 4 playbacks become masters, but i wld really appreciate it if someone cld give me a simple breakdown on how to use it. Thks!
