I'm using the new 2004 1.1 software - which is great by the way.
But I'm having an issue with palettes:
If I record a position palette to a button, not all of the fixtures override any previous position info already stored there.
I don't really like having to delete my palettes and starting again when all i really want to do is update them
anyone else seeing this - or is my desk knacked?

Is it possible to explain your problem with an example?
Only information in the programmer is stored. This is correct as it allows building/layering of palettes.
I have not experienced any issues with this.
/Edit: I forgot to mention that regardless of whether the information is in the programmer or not, only edits in the currently selected focus mask are stored. ie. If you have colour attribute selected, colour wheels and cmy are stored. To guarantee all info is stored select Dimmer.

Palette issues
I am having the same problems with my pallettes. Any answers why?
There is a problem that I am aware of when you use preset palettes from the personality.
Some times when using preset palettes you are not able to update the palette for the first fixture of a specific type. So if you patch 20 fixtures with preset palettes you will only be able to update the posation palette for the last 19.
The solution to this problem is either to not use preset palettes from the personality file or to delete the palette before editting it.
