Pearl 2004 - Upgrade to 1.1 and personality cache file

Hi,

I've got a big show coming up and I would like to upgrade our Pearl to version 1.1 of the 2004 soft before I start programming.

Now the problem is that I've made a custerm personality cache file containing some modified/extra fixtures, but due to a crash of my personal PC I've lost these.

Is there a way to either :
- Install the 2004 v1.1 soft without it replacing the current installed personality cache ? Also, is my assumption that it will override the current one correct ?
- Is their a way to backup the personality cache file from the Pearl ? I've looked in the manual but I can find no reference to this.

It is not always the case that the personality cache is destroyed when you upgrade the software however it does sometimes happen. It is always a good idea though to upgrade the cache when updatting the software. This ensures that you have the most up to date personalities.

Yes and No, it is not always the case but it may sometimes happen.
