To connect a classic Pearl to WYSIWYG you can use ACDI (http://www.avolites.com/Support/Software/ACDI.aspx). If the Pearl has a serial connector on the back marked ‘Visualiser’ you can use a standard RS-232 serial cable to connect it to your computer. If you do not have a serial port on the computer you can use a USB to Serial adapter to provide a serial port. On the console, user setting 14 should be set to Visualiser to start outputting down the serial or MIDI connector. I have found that ACDI works best on Windows XP although it may be possible to run it on newer operating systems. ACDI will require a license for it to communicate with WYSIWYG.
