Tiger Touch Touchscreen Finish

Postby chriscockrill » 19 Oct 2011, 02:24

I just purchased a new Tiger Touch and while I love it, my touchscreen matte/frosty type finish is far from ideal. Sitting down at the console I can barely make out the text. Is there a reason for this screen finish or did I just get a bad one? It certainly does not look anything like the clear screen that is shown on the website. I really wish it did as this is so very disappointing in an otherwise fantastic console! Any insight into this would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't own one but I've been lucky enough to use it a few times, I certainly find on most touch-screen based consoles (the Tiger Touch included) that sitting a bit higher than normal (or using the desk from a standing position) is easier.

There will be a slight 'frost' on the display as a result of the touchscreen overlay that's used, but i've never found it difficult to read through personally, maybe you have an odd one but Avo's quality control is usually very good - give them a call and I'm sure someone will be able to help.
