Pearl memory issue

Postby nick509 » 20 Jun 2010, 21:17

I will try my best to describe this problem. Running Pearl 2004 updated to 2008 software by AVO when sent in last time for repairs.

We just had ESPN in my venue for a boxing event. I did the programming for the live show and the board was acting up and being really strange.

I had 10 position palettes then i had some playbacks for different colors and effects.

I setup all my playbacks using record by channel so they could be used for all positions.

I had two colors, two different rainbow shapes, two pulses and a bally look. While i was testing these playbacks they seemed to be working just fine and then i went a created a N/C safety color palette, then i went again to test out my playbacks and the two colors were not working at all.

So i turned the board off then turned it back on. I went to test again and the colors worked again and everything was fine.

Does anyone have a solution or a reason for why this is happening? I can't seem to figure out why this is happening? Could this be a memory loss issue?

Thanks

It sounds like the colour values are still in the programmer.
Did you definitely press clear after recording?
