Getting a chase to start at the beginning on a playback

Postby Jamtastic3 » 02 Jun 2010, 21:23

Hi there.
How do you get a chase (ie colour chase, gobo chase) to begin at its starting step when the playback is put back at 0%.
It seems the chase stops on a step when the fader is taken down and carries on when it's raised again.

Also, if open white is on a playback and a colour is on another playback, the colour is brought up and then back down, the colour stays. Why does the colour not go out (open white)?

Cheers!

Program mode.
While the chase is running press [chase parameters], [more...], toggle softkey A until it reads [fader will reload chase]. Sounds like you are on [fader stops/starts chase], although I'm surprised as the default is 'fader will reload'.

Because it's LTP (latest takes precedence).
If you set the colour playback to mode2 it will allow you to fade it in/out.

If you're not familiar I recommend you read about HTP/LTP (in the manual or elsewhere) as they are very important to understand for the majority of modern lighting desks.

Oh I know! It's the one area I'm clueless about since I've been using a Masterpiece for 6 years which has no HTP/LTP dividing capabilities. This is why I've been getting into a pickle with various things about the Pearl. But I really appreciate all the help Nic.
