You have to program an shape with your solo position. So make your position, go to the shape generator and select a circle shape. Make the size 0, and record it on the playback you want. Then go to playback parameters in the Shape Generator menu, and select your playback. Then somewhere the desk say 'set to Mode 2' and select that. Than it has to work.
(Again, sorry for bad english

Mode 2 will make that work.
Solo cue contains white colour, position, circle shape size 0 and is set to mode2.
Choose normal colour with palettes.
Raise solo fader changes colour to white, moves fixtures to solo position and stops shape.
Lower fader restores to previous colour, position and shape runs again.
However, any values that are in the programmer will not be affected by the playback. So if you select fixtures before recalling the colour palette then you must press clear for the white solo to work.
To avoid palettes going into the programmer you can use Quick Palette mode which allows you to recall palettes without selecting fixtures. You can turn this on in user settings.
