Sapphire 2000 & Range Tables

Postby tokm2k » 18 Mar 2010, 20:16

Hi,

I've got a sapphire 2000 with a Boris 2 and the latest version of software installed which (IIRC) November 2005, will have to check.

I'm interested to find out if its possible to get range tables to show up seeing as its the same software that's on the Sapphire 2004 (or so I'm told..) The fixture profiles I'm using have range tables included in them so it can't be that.

In fairness I have used 2004 upgraded pearls in the past where whilst they had the new software, weren't pure pearl 2004's. I'm guessing this might be a similar thing to the old sapphires with new software.

Any help/assistance would be most welcome, even if its to say it's not possible. Just would be nice to know.

Cheers all. Tom

I can't be sure about Sapphire, but the method to display the ranges in 2004 build software on a Pearl would be shift+numeric 1 to toggle 'raw'/'intelligent'(ranges).
Does the option exist on the LCD when you hold shift?

Hi Nic, that didn't work.. Unfortunately no option for 'raw'/'intelligent'. Guessing that means I can't display range tables then.

Shame that the sapphire 2004 software wasn't made available for download. I presume it runs on a modified version of the pearl 2004 OS (with all the associated features and what not).

Just posting for (future) reference.

Had it confirmed a short while ago by the Avo software team that the Sapphire 2000 'doesn't do' range tables!
