I have personally never had that problem.

you should look at the bus errors. These can be found under AVO user in the menu <UTILITIES>, then on softbutton E. Then clear all the errors.

Does the problem occur everytime you power up the desk? Have you tried to save and load the show from disk? If this doesn't help, maybe a hard wipeall will. First save your show on disk, power down the desk, then power up while holding playback buttons 21 and 30. Perform the wipeall and load your show. If the problem still occurs, try to load the show on one of the other desks you own. If the problem still persists, it's a corrupt show.

Concerning the memory use, does the desk say "86% free" or "14% free"? If it's the latter, it could be the extended memory that fails. You can check it in the AVO menu under softbutton D <Memory Check>. Normally it has to go to 200%. Anything lower and you have a problem.

I personally find that the desk, albeit it brilliant and has a lot features for the price, could use a little more stability.

Maybe the software has become corrupted. Can you please say if the desk says 14% free or 86% free?

I don't know of any other option besides burning a new software. Or are you part of the occult beta-testers group and using a highly unstable software version?
