sim version 1.2

Postby dombleu » 22 Oct 2007, 16:31

I found this page:

http://www.avolites.org.uk/register/offline12.htm

Offering to download the 1,2 version of the Pearl Simulator

But when I try to register I get this:

"FrontPage Run-Time Component Page

You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.

This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.
Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page."

Any Idea?

At a guess I am thinking this is simply out of date & refers to old 2000 sim.

Well then, how am I supposed to get the 1.2 soft for the pearl 2008? Because the only offered official download is labaled as version 1. (1.0 I guess...)

I am not aware of any update to the 2004 sim.

Latest desk software is 1.2, available here: http://www.avolitesdownload.com/Downloads/Pearl2004.stm

Hopefully, finders crossed, USB will be very soon. Honestly!

hahahha! Yes I know USB is real close by ;)

But i'm actually wondering about the simulator software. My version of the sim doesn't match the one of my desk, and I got some nasty issues... Probably related to that.

version 1 on sim
version 1.2 on desk

weird palettes and patch problems

looking for an solution.

I'm afraid there may not be a solution.

The simulator does not match any current software build and does have many bugs. I guess at the moment it can only be considered a learning tool. Certainly not a reliable offline editor.
