Hello everyone!
Today I wanted to ask about Playback Groups - I have a small problem with groups, namely:
I place my main Cue or Cuelist from each song in a playback groups so that turning on the right song turns off the previous and the others.
If I set the Kill Point to Fired in the group settings regardless of whether it is a single Cue or Cuelist, releasing the remaining playbacks in the group works, but they all start with a fade time from 0% dimmer.
I wanted to avoid starting from 0% dimmer, just to smoothly transition from Cue (Cuelist) and I switched Kill Point to Fade Completed - here unfortunately if the playback is a single Cue then it turns off the remaining playbacks in the group, but if the playback is Cuelist then it does not turn off other playbacks in the group.
Here is the question, is this a bug in the case of Cuelists in Playback Groups and Kill Point as "Fade Completed"?
Alternatively, what are your methods for smooth transition between Cuelists so that the unnecessary ones are automatically turned off?

Re: Question about Playback Groups
Unfortunately it seems that the mutually exclusive feature of playback groups is not working as intended for chases and cue lists when the kill point is set to fade completed in version 18. This issue has been logged and should hopefully be looked at for a future release.
In the case of cue lists you could potentially record a macro into one of the cues that releases the other playbacks however this wouldn't help if the playback being fired is a memory or chase. An alternative to playback groups might be to have a cue list with each of the other playbacks linked into it as autoloads, the cue that the cue list is in would therefore dictate which of the autoloaded playbacks is active. I am not sure how easy it would be to get the timing correct on those playbacks so that they transition smoothly between them.

Re: Question about Playback Groups
Thank you Gregory!
I installed V18 and that's where my problems started, and it seemed to me that V17.1 worked as it should. I'm still looking for a working method, but so far with poor results (I've tried macros and other solutions, but they don't work well). I hope that a fix for this problem will appear as soon as possible. Thanks again for your reply.
EDIT:
I also checked the TITAN 17.1 but unfortunately it has the same problem.
It took me a while, but I found a "temporary" solution. As it turns out, the simplest solutions are the best, and maybe someone will find them useful: I set the Playback Groups Kill Point to Fired, and creating an additional playback where for all devices the dimmer is set to 100% and I leave it permanently on – the problem of passing through 0% dimmer disappears completely
